Frequently Asked Questions

Bra Fitting FAQ's

This is the question we get most often. Lilianna Mann, professional bra fitter extraordinaire - created a video to show you a step-by-step guide on how to measure your own bra size.

We're always here to help and would love to support you by offering a free professional bra fitting. Simply book a bra fitting and our appointment coordinaor will contact you.

*1st measurement is for the band size. Erin's band size = 36"
*2nd measurement is to help determine the cup size. Across the largest part of Erin's bust = 40"
*Count the # of inches between the 1st and 2nd measurements, so 40 - 36 = 4

This will tell you how many letters to count, starting with A, then B, C, D, E, F and so on. We know we have to count 4 letters, so we know Erin's cup size is a D.
**Add that to the 1st measurement and you get a 36D**

Our expert bra-fitting consultants will first take the correct measurements to determine your bra size, and then will ask about individual figure concerns, lifestyle needs and personal style preferences. They will then recommend one bra/style for you to try on, will discreetly check the fit and then give recommendations to help you select the perfect bra wardrobe.

Although an appointment is not required, we do still recommend making one, as there may be a wait for a fitting room during busier times. You can make an appointment directly on our website here.

You can follow this link here and book it directly on our website. You can also call a store directly or send them an email. Find all the stores' contact info at the link here.

Yes, please follow the instructions on our book an appointment page, and select the # of people in your group.

The entire process can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. A thorough fitting should never be rushed! A comfortable setting is key to a positive bra-fitting experience and our consultants will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. A good bra-fitting should provide knowledge, insight and self-awareness, so that you leave the store looking and feeling your best, thanks to your new bras.

Statistically, 90% of women are wearing the wrong bra size! The breast is not a muscle, it is delicate glandular tissue which, whether large or small, needs to be supported, especially as we age. A properly fitted bra can help reduce back pain and headaches for large breasted women, and can help improve posture, overall appearance and enhance self-esteem for all women. The right undergarments play an important role in helping to enhance how your clothes fit and look on your body.

We recommend every six months to a year. Breast size and shape fluctuates continually throughout our life for many reasons such as diet, weight changes, exercise, medications, pregnancy, menopause or illness.

a. You can’t wait to take it off!
b. The wires hurt = the band is too small, or the bra sits too low on the ribcage.
c. The wires poke on the side = a larger band or cup size is needed.
d. The middle front rides up away from the body = cups are too small.
e. The band rides up = it’s either too big or has lost elasticity.
f. The shoulders hurt = more support is needed with a smaller band and larger cups or a style with wider or padded straps.
g. Straps fall off the shoulders = they need to be tightened, they have lost elasticity, or your shoulders may be sloped, requiring a bra with straps that are closer together at the back.

How To Care For My Lingerie?

Below are some instructions, and you can also watch an instructional video.

1. Wash your bras by hand, every other wear using a small amount of lingerie wash. If washing one bra, you can use a large bowl filled halfway with lukewarm water and a small amount of lingerie wash. Make sure the wash you use is thoroughly mixed and diluted in the water.
2. Submerge your bra for just a few minutes. Lingerie washes are specially formulated to remove our body oils and any dirt, without damaging the delicate fabrics and lace (there is no need for harsh scrubbing, just let it soak for a little).
3. Rinse in clean water
4. Let drip dry or lay flat
5. Remember not to fold your molded bras, it could damage the shape

Watch Liliana Mann as she explains and demonstrates how to wash your bras:

a. Wash bras after every other wear.

b. Hand wash delicates using gentle detergent such as Eucalan or Forever New.

c. If you must wash in a machine, turn delicates inside-out and fasten clasps. Always use a lingerie or wash bag.

d. Hang to dry. Never put lingerie in the dryer.

e. Always fold bras and panties carefully, don't crush them.

f. Stack molded bras in your drawer to avoid ripples in your cups. Never fold the bra cups inwards.
