I am thrilled to share some EXCITING news of the sale of Linea Intima to our Business Director, Karen Capocci and her husband Eddie!
Karen has been at my side the past 26 years as a trusted business advisor. She has played an important management role behind-the-scenes helping me to shape the Linea Intima you know and love.
Even though the company ownership has changed, please know your Linea Intima experience will remain the same. It’s business as usual!
I will continue to guide the buying, will be available by appointment for personal bra-fittings and will still be front and center on our social media platforms – dispensing lingerie tips, advice and trend updates.
At this stage of my life, as many of you can appreciate, I want to dedicate more time to my family and travel. When I started thinking about a succession plan, Karen was the natural fit to lead the company into the future. She knows the lingerie business inside-and-out and she brings a younger perspective I feel is aptly suited to deal with today’s business challenges.
With that said – I’d like to introduce you to Karen!
Love,
Lili xo

The jury of brands themselves suggested this award be introduced, marking a significant point in the professional life of an individual. We are thrilled to have been the ✨FIRST✨ to ever be presented with this prestigious award. Thank you to all the brands who voted for us!
The excitement and buzz could be felt right from the start of the evening! Broadcast live from The Best of Intima’s TV studios, stores and brands connected from New York to Calgary, from Toronto to Los Angeles, in trepid anticipation.
Many stores had organized their own support teams, bringing together staff, family and friends to celebrate. Parties were in full swing from east to west as all awaited impatiently to find out who the winners of this year’s Best of Intima awards were.
Despite the complicated moment, the 2021 Edition saw massive participation. With nearly 400 stores nominated, brands more than ever recognized the importance of supporting their clients. Stores welcomed the opportunity to once again celebrate their passion, express the best of their professionalism, and most of all - to reach out and connect.
The event was another amazing opportunity to see how the independents have been navigating these tumultuous times and the amazing creative and business-savvy resources they have proved to be endowed with. In the light of this and in order to pay tribute to the resilience of intimate apparel retailers and boutiques, The Best of Intima opted to widen its list of finalists in a true lingerie celebration! “The Awards rule would normally not allow past winners to run again – says Francesca Spinetta, co-owner of Intima Media Group – but we felt it would have been unfair to exclude them from this Restart edition since it is sometimes even harder to keep a position than to reach it”.
Jury of brands included: Anita, Bravado, B.Tempt’d, Chantelle, Commando, Cosabella-Journelle, Curvy Kate, Elomi, Empreinte, Falke, Fantasie, Fit Fully Yours, Hanky Panky, Hanro, Iluna, Janira, Leonisa, Le Mystere, Maison Lejaby, Mey, Montelle, Natori, Panache, Simone Pérèle, Skarlett Blue, Soak, Wacoal.
]]>We are thrilled to share that our Linea Intima Comfort Project in support of nurses, was featured in a “Toronto Together” segment on CP24!
CP24 reporter Pooja Handahas interviewed me via Skype and I explained about our efforts to provide lingerie thank you gift bags to the amazing and heroic nurses in Covid-19 departments of Toronto area hospitals who are working long hours day after day to help keep all of us safe.
Donations are critical to the success of the project!
We’re hoping that this media coverage will inspire lots of people to support our Comfort Project by making a donation on our website so that we can continue to deliver Linea Intima gift bags to as many nurses as possible.
Each donation of $75 or $100 allows us to make a gift bag valued between $150-$200, that includes a beautiful piece of lingerie or sleepwear to pamper an exhausted nurse when she comes home after a long day.
Our Comfort Project is so near and dear to my heart as my Mother was a volunteer nurse during World War 2 and I would love to be able to deliver hundreds of these gift bags in the coming weeks.
With everyone’s help I can make that happen – I’m up for the challenge and hope you are too – please join me!
Sincerely,
Liliana

“I’m sick of cheap underwear that never fit quite right. How do you find good everyday underwear?” — Toni, Toronto
Your approach to underwear says a lot about you. Sure, you can draw some conclusions from the style—certainly someone who opts for a lime green thong likely has a bolder fashion streak than someone who gravitates toward a charcoal bikini brief—but I believe the true personality test is in the way you think about, shop for and care for your underwear. It is, after all, one of the only garments that aren’t worn for public consumption, so it reveals a little about our relationship to ourselves. (And don’t debate that point as it relates to sexy lingerie, because I think it holds true: The boost in mojo from racy pieces is the point. I’ve never heard of a partner giving the styling details of a pair of underwear a close once-over before they come off.)
So what kind of person are you when no one is looking? I have become a minimalist because I crave soothing consistency when faced with very busy days and don’t want to start off my morning with a decision of which fancy panty to wear, so my drawer is stocked almost entirely with one style of black bikini brief that is comfortable and washes well. There is also a small corner reserved for the SWAT team undergarments—special-occasion-only pieces, like shapewear, that perform their duties only when absolutely required.
Lingerie designer Rosalie Wynne, who produces her handcrafted eponymous collection out of her Hamilton design studio, agrees that choosing underwear isn’t trivial. “It’s really about enjoying yourself,” she explains. “It’s about finding a piece you actually want to put on your body, that feels comfortable and that makes you feel lovely. That adds up to a very personal choice.”
But before we pull out the personality quizzes (a favourite pastime, to be honest) to determine what might be a qualitatively good choice for you, let’s agree on a few specific and quantitative characteristics that define high-quality underwear in general.
First, it needs to be breathable. “Hygiene is important,” says Wynne, who opts for a bamboo-blend fabric in her designs, since it allows for air flow, and she likes how soft it feels. (She then integrates lace panels to make the design more modern, without taking away from practicality.) A synthetic-fabric garment is fine, she furthers, as long as it has a gusset (the strip between your legs) crafted from cotton or any other material that allows your body to breathe. An all-cotton-blend brief is also a great choice, of course.
Next up, make sure that any elastic running around the waistband and legs is sturdy, so you don’t end up with a pair of underwear that is quickly stretched out and saggy. The elastic should stretch out to twice its size and spring easily back into shape. (Some cheap elastic narrows when it’s stretched, for example, which is an easy tell.)
When deciding what specific style to opt for, there are a few considerations, says Wynne. What kind of clothes do you wear, for instance? If you’re always slipping into high-waisted jeans, stocking up on high-waisted underwear is a good bet, since you’ll get a more streamlined look—and be more comfortable. What’s your lifestyle like? Wynne is skeptical that there’s any need for activity-specific underpants, like yoga briefs. Rather, a good pair of underwear should be comfortable enough to carry you from desk to downward dog. Lastly, how curvy are you? “Boy shorts are not very flattering on about 99.8 per cent of people because they cut off your legs,” she explains. “I find something that has more diagonal lines elongates your legs and gives you a little bit more shape.”
The main point of confusion for a lot of women is actually their sizing, though, says Wynne. Many of us are shopping online and using gut instinct to pick a size (“Mercury is in retrograde, so I must be a medium!” is not really a strategy). However, Wynne begs that we get serious and pull out a tape measure. “You have to use your measurements and then carefully check the size chart of the brand you’re considering because you can be a different size in any given style, let alone different brand. Knowing your measurements is the only way you can be confident when ordering online.” If your measurements fall, as is often the case, into disparate size ranges, opt for the size defined by the waistband measurement, since that is often the least forgiving area.
Then, once you’ve got a roster of hard-working underwear in your collection, treat it gently. Washing it in cold water in a mesh bag will seriously add to your lingerie’s lifespan—and the wash bag makes it easy to nab your pieces before throwing the rest of your laundry in the dryer, since letting undergarments air dry will also help protect their stretch. “Though handwashing would help protect it even more,” says Wynne, “I just don’t have time for that.” I’m glad she said that, since I am chilled to the bone by the thought that anyone has enough time to carefully hand-wash each pair of underwear.
Fundamentally, though, investing a bit of your time to find well-made underwear that feels fantastic and suits your lifestyle is as deep an act of self-care as any bubble bath or massage. “It’s a way of treating yourself,” says Wynne. “So how do you want to be treated?”

]]>On this weeks edition of Faces of Downtown Oakville, we sat down with Liliana Mann, owner of Linea Intima Lingerie to chat about her love for Oakville, the Lakeshore Road Revitalization Project, and summer trends.
]]>]]>
In June Linea Intima (a go-to-source for luxury lingerie and bra-fitting expertise) invited me to a special Fall/Winter preview for the French lingerie house of Empreinte and their bras specifically created for figures with a C cup or more. Both of these companies believe that lingerie should fit like a glove and flatter curvaceous busts.
I already own a few Empreinte bras and when I received this invitation I was going. Empreinte was founded in 1946 in France and it takes three years to fully train an Empreinte craftsperson. There are several reasons I am a loyal customer – sizes range from 30-42 C-G (depending on style), pretty bras made with beautiful lace and bras that shape and hold the breast beautifully.
At the preview I was gifted the bra of my choosing and I chose the Lily Rose. I was also able to customize my bra with my name and I added a little cameo detail. I chose black because I have the other Empreinte bras in “fashion” colours and needed a new black bra.
The day I was at Linea Intima I also received a bra-fitting – Linea Intima is known for its signature bra-fitting technique. I cannot stress how important it is to get properly fitted and then try on different styles. You may fluctuate sizes depending on the styles you prefer and every style may not be the best for you. Linea Intima has five Ontario locations and once you’ve been fitted you can also shop online.
]]>If you've ever had to buy glasses to help with your vision, you often have to rely on the advice of your partner, friend, or sales associate to help you decide what looks good because there are so many options and your vision is compromised.
Once you pick up your new glasses, that's when you finally "see" yourself for the first time. Hopefully, you like them and they're comfortable!
When my new glasses were ready and I picked them up I was in love, however, after wearing them for a few hours I realized they were very uncomfortable and I began to get a horrible headache. The frame was actually too small for my face so they kept moving. I was definitely not happy.
I returned to the store, feeling trapped and expecting an unpleasant discussion. What a surprise when the exact opposite happened! The owner was so understanding and after carefully inspecting, agreed the frame was too small for me. She asked for the frames and with the help of heat, molded the "hands", custom fitting these beautiful glasses to comfortably fit my shape perfectly! It was then that I realized not only bras need to be fitted perfectly. There are other items that require a little extra care as they become an extension of you.
The moral of my story is that if you just got a new bra or if you aren't feeling absolutely comfortable in your bra(s), this is a reminder to come visit us and let us "custom fit" it for you!
Maybe it's as simple as a quick change in the tightness around your back, or to customize the fit of the straps so they're different lengths. Perhaps you just need a little tuck in the cups! There is also a possibility that the bra has fulfilled its purpose and it's time for a new one.
In any case, our expert bra fitters and I are always more than happy to see you for the perfect fit. When you wake up in the morning you will be looking forward to wearing your bra, instead of waiting to take it off at night.
]]>You aren't alone!
The subject of undergarments has been taboo for so long. Many lingerie departments and stores actually didn't even do bra fittings, let alone know how to do them properly! They didn't understand how to store and wash bras, and rarely discussed uneven sizes or the need for a "period bra".
Each season magazines publish the must have items and how to wear them. When is the last time they included the correct undergarments for each look? They show us a trending style with the shoes, accessories, even lipstick! But what about the most important item? That's the one with will "make or break" the whole outfit. The one that nobody sees but everybody notices.
The best we get from a magazine is that feature once or twice a year (more for advertiser's sake) with pictures and dry explanations that we may look at and enjoy - but do they actually teach us anything?
Linea Intima is here to be your lingerie adviser and no subject is too small or too big (no pun intended). We are here to teach you about sizes, styles, colours, wardrobe choices, care and what you're better off to toss.
Let me help you book your next appointment!
]]>As you wear your bra day after day, similar to your glasses, parts of it tend to stretch – like the band, which you can adjust with the hooks yourself. But the straps also stretch out and as a result your bra doesn’t quite fit or support the way it did when you bought it.
We want to remind you that you can bring any bra into Linea Intima and we will gladly adjust the straps and improve how it fits. OR so it fits like new once again. Yes … even the bras you didn’t purchase from us!
It’s a good idea to do this a couple of times over the course of a year to help maintain the perfect fit, a cornerstone of our customer service. Our experts will also give you other helpful fit tips or answer any questions you might have.
It’s important to treat your bra just like other investment purchases you make - your glasses, your car, your watch - and bring it in to Linea Intima for a “tune-up” to extend the life of your investment and improve the way it performs.
It's our “added-value” that we are pleased to offer all Linea Intima customers!
]]>It takes hours of work and the co-ordinated efforts of many people to make an event the magnitude of CIBC’s Celebration of Hope: Chocolate Sunday Luncheon such a huge success. As a result of this effort and commitment - 800 guests (who gladly paid $125 a ticket) had an absolutely amazing time while supporting a worthwhile cause.
Arriving at the elegant Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre we first found our table assignment, then along with the other guests, spent time shopping the many stores which were set-up exclusively for the event.
Just past noon we entered the beautifully decorated hall – which felt like an elegant wedding!
Erin Davis and Liliana Mann
CHFI radio celebrity Erin Davis was the MC. She was so entertaining, elegant and eloquent. We loved her sharp wit - "Do you know what coffee, chocolate and men have in common? They are all much better rich!" She even sang (and she was quite good).
Her friendship with Allan Bell, the driving-force behind the event, was very evident. If Allan wasn’t laughing then he was crying – both sad and happy tears!
They were hilarious on-stage together bantering back and forth. But there were times when their stories brought tears - especially for Allan, who lost his sister to breast cancer.
The Chocolate Sunday Luncheon program was jam-packed and included Motown-inspired music artists and TV actor Christian LeBlanc star of Young and the Restless who helped with the fundraising auction.
We all applauded when The 2014 Hope Award was presented to Dr. Alexandra Ginty, Family Physican, Author of "Both Sides", and double breast cancer survivor.
It was an exciting time bidding on the TA TA Celebrity Bra Designer Silent Auction. Linea Intima was thrilled to place the winning bids for the beautiful Erin Davis and Frankie Flowers (Breakfast Television) bra designs. They will have the perfect home at Linea Intima and will each spend shared display time among our stores.
Not to be forgotten – the food, wine and chocolate desert were absolutely delicious.
I cannot think of a more uplifting way to spend my Sunday than to be among women linked by a common cause - the fight to conquer breast cancer. What a fun and heartfelt way to join together!
Allan Bell and Liliana
It is such a powerful feeling when you give to others and at the same time receive so much in return. I honestly feel when you thank Allan for everything he does to organize this event – he thanks YOU just as much if not more!
Here’s a link to photos of the CIBC Chocolate Sunday Luncheon 2014.
We can’t wait to participate again next year!

]]>My friend Allan Bell, who spearheads the Foundation, asked for Linea Intima’s help to provide bras for this year’s TA TA Celebrity Bra Designer Silent Auction. With the help of our generous suppliers, Amoena and Simone Pérèle, we donated 12 bras for the celebrities to embellish with their own personal "creative stamp". Each design masterpiece was auctioned at this year’s CIBC Foundation of Hope: Chocolate Sunday Luncheon, to raise much needed financial support for Allan’s Hospital Foundation. Our ten year celebration at the Bayview Village store was the perfect opportunity (excuse) to showcase some of the celebrity bra designs, help promote the Chocolate Sunday event and at the same time raise funds, together with our customers, in support of a great cause.
That evening, we rolled out the red carpet, raised a glass of bubbly to the success of our store, enjoyed a macaron or two and successfully raised $340. Linea Intima had committed to double the donation total – but instead we decided to round it up to a nice even figure of $1,000 – which I presented to Allan Bell at the Chocolate Sunday Luncheon on October 26th. It was our best store anniversary party ever! Thanks so much to each of you who donated – together we always accomplish great things. Liliana

As you know, I've always maintained, what you wear under your outfit is as important as the clothing itself and the perfect fitting bra is the secret to looking and feeling your absolute best. We couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to offer this experience to the Toni Plus customer!
Toni Plus Sherway’s new Linea Intima Intimates plus size department will include our most popular European brands which all of you love – each designed to provide serious shape and support for curvaceous figures - PrimaDonna, Empreinte and Simone Pérèle bras, shapewear and panties.

]]>The TA TA Bra Design Silent Auction benefits the annual CIBC Celebration of Hope for Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Breast Health Centre and Chemotherapy Clinic.
I had the privilege of getting the inside scoop from some of the designers on their design inspiration and their experience as a Bra Designer. I will be sharing these on my blog, leading up to this year’s CIBC Celebration of Hope: Chocolate Sunday Luncheon on October 26th. I hope you will attend this amazing event and support this worthwhile cause.
Don’t forget to bid on one of our TA TA Designer Bras!
Liliana’s TA TA Celebrity Bra Designer Q&A with CHFI’s Erin Davis, Emcee of the Chocolate Sunday Luncheon.
Liliana: What was the hardest part and the easiest part of designing your bra?
Erin Davis: The hardest part - actually getting going! I had ordered some felt pieces online, and they never arrived (grrrrr...) so I had to switch from a "donut" theme (must've been hungry when I came up with it) to something a little Disney. I decided on "Under the C". The second hardest part: finding 8 hours to do it, but the easiest was doing it once I'd started - the inspiration just kept flowing until it was done!
Liliana: How long did it take?
Erin Davis: - 8 hours. I had help from my husband who ended up as totally covered in sparkles as I did (and the cleanup took about another hour, because there were sparkles everywhere!) but where Allan Bell and any request through him is concerned, it's never too much.
Liliana: What’s your favourite element of the design?
Erin Davis: My favourite element is that it looks like a Vegas Mermaid outfit. I wanted it to look like an ocean fantasy from the rhinestones and pearls (to look like bubbles) to the blingy starfish that adorns the centre, and real starfish that are on the straps. Tiny shells are dotted on the "foam" at the top of the cups - so that it all combines for a lovely (if not slightly busy) ocean scene. The "C" of course, is my bra cup size...the play on "sea" was actually what inspired the whole design.
Liliana: Did you have someone in mind when you designed your bra? Is there any special significance to your design, in addition to the fact it’s helping raise funds for breast cancer?
Erin Davis: Actually, Allan (Bell) was in my mind when I designed this. Because of his close association with breast cancer (of which his sister Lesley passed away) I wanted it to be something that he'd be proud to say his friend Erin made. I didn't want to look like I grabbed a glue gun and slapped something together. I made it with love and opted to forgo the pink of breast cancer this time. I mean, this is the ocean, baby!
Erin Davis's "before" and "after" of her bra
]]>I had a milestone birthday a short time ago, and it is indeed so nice to receive well wishes and thoughtful gifts, but the feeling of giving is, in my opinion, more rewarding!
I was so proud that my "old" friend Allan Bell, Director Community Relations and Corporate Partnerships, Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation thought of Linea Intima when he came up with the idea of the "TA TA Bra Design” project - a truly "uplifting" experience!
Nobody knows more about lifting (breasts that is) than me and I immediately jumped to the call!
Linea Intima donated 14 bras. We selected and sent along Amoena and Simone Pérèle bras to be decorated by celebrity designers for the TA TA Bra Design Silent Auction benefiting the CIBC Celebration of Hope for Markham Stouffville Hospital Breast Health Centre and Chemotherapy Clinic.
Designers include Erin Davis of CHFI, Frank Ferragine and Kevin Frankish of CityTV, fashion TV host Jeanne Beker, actor Christian LeBlanc of The Young and the Restless, Olympic Gold medallist Natalie Spooner of Canada’s national women’s hockey team, and NHL legends Darryl Sittler, Wendel Clark and Johnny Bower, along with their wives.
This year’s Celebration of Hope event, the “Chocolate Sunday Luncheon” takes place October 26th. Here’s the link for details and to purchase tickets. I hope you can attend to support this amazing event and worthwhile cause.
Well, this rewarding experience inspired me to continue the "giving" and as it happens our Bayview Village store celebrates its 10th anniversary on October 16th!
To mark this milestone…for “10” days, from October 6th to October 16th, we will post a different Bayview Anniversary celebration “gift” for you - on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Website. Make sure to keep an eye on all of our social media sites for details of the celebration savings.
During our anniversary celebration Bayview Village customers can make a donation in support of the TA TA Bra Design Silent Auction and Linea Intima will match those donations (up to $2,000).
Then, on October 16th Linea Intima Bayview will host the TA TA Bra Designer Party. We’ll have some of the celebrity designer bras on display in the store that day and the party will take place from 6pm-8pm.
Allan Bell and his celebrity friends will be on hand, to celebrate and answer your questions, plus we will present Allan with a cheque from Linea Intima benefitting the Markham Stouffville Hospital Breast Health Centre and Chemotherapy Clinic.
If you’d like to attend the TA TA Party, please let us know and we’ll send you all of the exciting details. The $10 admission will also be part of Linea Intima’s donation cheque. Let us know as soon as you can, space is limited.
Our mission is always to help support your “girls” with the perfect fitting bra and in October, we’re asking for your support to help us raise funds for this very worthwhile cause. Together we can help to make a difference!
Liliana
]]>Why is that?
We complain we're too small or too big or too tall or too short. I say, let's start to like, no...love, ourselves!
Let's concentrate on everything that is beautiful about us, including everything and everyone around us! I promise you, we will all be much happier and the world will be a better place - or certainly look like it is!All the foundations that we carry at Linea Intima are meant to not only support you, but to also show-off your feminine curves. It's our mission to guide you through the multitude of styles and help you choose the perfect lingerie to flatter your figure.
Throughout my years of experience, I've noticed how you look at yourself in the mirror, when you have on the proper size and perfect style of bra, shapewear or sleepwear. You may not notice, but I do - you stand straighter and often you pose like the models you see in the magazines and yes, you start to smile!
Your smile is the best curve and it is the one that everybody will notice first!
When you leave our store feeling great and your smile radiates confidence - people will comment, "have you lost weight?" or "is that a new outfit?".
I hope you will tell your friends that Linea Intima helps shape and support every woman's curves, especially the most beautiful curve of all!
]]>You know the words to the famous song, New York, New York: "If you can make it there, I'll make it anywhere"? Well, I am incredibly proud and most humbled to let you all know that Linea Intima did MAKE IT!
Last month, at the exclusive Best of Intima Awards, the 10th Anniversary Event at the posh Tribeca Rooftop restaurant, the who's who of our industry (all dressed t -"kill", met for schmoozing, appetizers and of course cocktails. It was a perfectly beautiful evening and I was so happy to be there with my husband and my peers. I was also very relaxed - I knew Linea Intima had been selected once again as a finalist (430 stores were nominated and 33 were finalists in 5 categories), but since we won the Best Retail Development Award last year, I was sure this year we would be only spectators.
To my complete and utter surprise, Linea Intima won the coveted award for Best Reference Shop - described as "A large community landmark with a complete and varied product offer. A shop where customer service is key, with the guidance of a fully qualified staff and the communications and advertising campaigns extended and diverse".
I've always felt it is such an honour just to be nominated, to be included among the best of the industry. But to be the only Canadian store to win this year left me speechless and very excited.Well...I wasn't really speechless (as you know me, that would be hardly possible..) and in fact I got to have two speeches. During the first one, still under shock, I thanked all the suppliers for their beautiful products which help us improve our customers lives one bra at a time!
The second speech, graciously awarded to me by Francesca Spinetta, editor-in-chief of the Best of Intima magazine, the organizer of the event, gave me the opportunity to truly thank the love of my life - my husband, for standing by me and helping me accomplish my dreams. I also thanked my wonderful staff, without whom I would have a problem being everywhere at the same time - they are the ones that make me look good!
But now I'd like to take the opportunity to tell you that you make everything worth while, and you make us strive to be best at what we do.
I want to thank you for your loyalty and your trust - so....THANK YOU!
Christine Vancouver was the first line of silk lingerie both designed and manufactured in Canada. We work closely with the fabulous Christine Morton, the owner and creative force behind the label. We love all her collection and we are so proud and excited when we get the special groups, created exclusive to Linea Intima. Her silks have been featured in numerous television shows and movies. Fans of the brand include Ophra, Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Hendricks and Katie Holmes.
Montreal-based lingerie and ready-to-wear brand Arianne have been known for the affordable high-quality sleepwear and daywear for over sixty years. Their beautiful camis specifically have been a great seller in our stores and come in a wide range of colours. Perfect to wear with a blazer for the office, a skirt on date night and jeans for a casual outing with friends.
Fortnight Lingerie is still relatively new-only four years old, but has already generated a huge following. The romantic, vintage-inspired lingerie has been featured in Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, In Style, Fashion Magazine and GQ. The minimalistic look of their long-line bras and slip dresses caters to the niche market that is looking for something other than the padded push-up bras found in chair retail stores. Fortnight is designed and manufactured right here in Toronto!
Family-owned and operated company Diamond Tea was founded in Montreal in 1920. Their extensive line of top quality women's robes and loungewear are designed and manufactured in Canada using the finest fabrics and trims. In the early years, Diamond Tea primarily made hostess gowns and bathrobes, later branching out to include a full range of loungewear, robes and casual wear. Loyal customers of this brand at our store love the glamorous long wrap and zip robes. The new beech wear line is a great addition to the mix of the quality line.

The Parisian woman is confident, strong, and seductive. She knows that the secret to great style and looking your best is to dress well from the inside, out. For her, matching bra and panty sets are a must and French women will purchase at least two matching panties for each bra!
A new bra will most certainly make your clothes fit better and give you more confidence by making you look younger and thinner. But a matching panty is the icing on the cake so-to-speak – the extra special detail that gives your inner confidence an extra little boost. As I always say, “It's something that only you (and a lucky partner) can see, but everyone will notice!” And it’s why our Linea Intima lingerie experts always encourage you to buy matching panties to go with your bra.
It’s no secret we’re passionate about matching sets – I’ve written about it before here and in our Newsletter. So in case you’re still not convinced about their benefits, our June special offer just might help.
This month when you purchase a Simone Pérèle bra, you get the matching panty for 50% off!
During Simone Pérèle month at Linea Intima, we want you to experience the beauty of a luxurious French lingerie set, and feel the same confidence that French women have for generations.
I’d love to hear how much you enjoy your new Simone Pérèle matching set and whether you notice a difference in how you feel wearing it - please drop me a note.

For nearly 70 years, Empreinte has been perfecting the design of its bras, evolving the fit and detailing to meet the ever-changing needs of the woman who looks to Empreinte to make her look and feel her best.
Empreinte’s new, delicate lace embellished, Grace collection is inspired by the distinctly glamorous flair of the French Riviera and the princess who epitomized its luxurious Dolce Vita lifestyle.
Empreinte May Contest
Linea Intima has partnered with Empreinte on a very special offer this month, because we want you to feel every-inch-a-princess when you wear the new Grace bra or any Empreinte bra.
With every Empreinte bra you purchase in May, you will be automatically entered into our draw for the chance to win a beautiful Birk’s pearl necklace, valued at approximately $600.
Good luck!

It has been apparent to me for sometime that the underwear-as-outerwear trend is one to watch!
Did you see Rihanna rocking the 2104 MTV Movie Awards red carpet? This past week on CTV’s The Social, a whopping 70% of viewers voted her look as their fashion favourite.
She was stunning in a strapless, off-white satin, corseted bodysuit topped by a flowing pastel pink, sheer georgette robe - à la Jonquil. Her outfit was from designer, Ulyana Sergeenko's spring 2014 couture collection.
This is the same look that I suggest to brides of all ages – it’s perfect for the fun and flirtatious " show and tell" on their wedding night! On the topic of innerwear as streetwear - the 10 collections I saw photographed from Australian Fashion Week could each, easily be a nightgown or a pyjama or a bathingsuit cover up - or any gorgeous lingerie style from our store – take your pick!
I’ve always maintained that you should dress “from the inside out" – choosing the proper foundations first, to ensure that all of your clothes fit and look their best.
With the lingerie style revolution happening on the fashion runways and celeb red carpets – now I’m thinking my advice will be - pull your entire look together at your lingerie store!
It truly can be a one-stop-shopping experience where you get your undergarments and most likely everything else – if you dare!
Let me know what you think of Rihanna’s look – is it something you’d consider wearing?
